th - Freshmen are new, inexperienced, and are rarely prepared for the experience of walking into high school for the first time. Providing 9th graders with support and tools to be better prepared for the expectations and responsibilities that come with the high school experience.

th - While the traditional high school sophomore thinks they can settle into the comfort of making it through their freshman year, institutions of learning are raising the bar. Teachers and staff have seen what students are capable of and are pushing forward with higher expectations. Much more attention is required for the 10th grade year, to ensure that the progress from freshman year is not lost.

th - As official upperclassmen, it is time to get busy: college visits, more visibility to college coaches, real decisions about internships and college majors. As GOAL Inc. participants a junior’s focus is not just on bettering themselves but setting the correct example for members that are coming behind them.

th - The final year of high school can hold the biggest challenges, this is when all that hard work of the last three years yields options for the future. Moreover, a part of departing for something bigger is making sure you leave the path for others. Heavy the head that wears the crown.

In the afternoon, participants will also participate in physical training specific to their sport of choice.
